The latest release (RC1-71) comes with support for coupons. Make them apply to one product or the whole order. Make them a percentage discount or a fixed amount. Have start dates and end dates. Multi faceted coupons.

Now create shopper groups and give them a discount (example 10%).
Use for your frequent customers or gold buyers.
Right now you must assign the customer to the new shopper group by hand.

Added an .htaccess file to the downloads directory with "deny from all". No one can access your files directly, only through the application that keeps track of number of downloads allowed and expiry time. Of course, this only applies to apache servers.
Also fixed up the sample data so you have a track to download, not just a preview to listen to!

We added another step in the 'post payment' process. A user now returns to a thank you page and must click a link to see their order. This gives time for PayPal's Instant Payment Notification to update the order to Confirmed.
On the admin side we added a tab for all the store parameters. Funny how they add up. When installing or updating, be sure to open the Store in the backend and check the parameters. You have to save them once for any new ones to have effect.
One parameter we added is a choice to tax shipping or not.

Added logging of payments and ability for the admin to add payments manually. Handy if you get cheques or bank drafts.
Sometimes, Paypal notify script can take longer than the return to the site. The customer will then see the order as still Pending. A refresh of the page shows the order as Confirmed, with download links. The email sent always shows the update to Confirmed and the download links.
I will work on that.
