Hi Gord

I hope you are well. Once again I find myself in a situation where I need to send a complimentary download to someone and it is not straight-forward.

Let me tell you what I've TRIED to do. Within one album (Bible Songs) I have added a track called; "Test Free Download" (if I get this to work this will eventually be "Free Bible Songs Album Download")
Within the 'Track Details' page I have limited the access to a new user group I created called "Complimentary" which has permissions of "Complimentary" a child of "Registered".

However when I publish it, Despite the fact that access is limited to users in the group "Complimentary" it can still be seen by the public without logging in at all.

Hi BrendanWhile the track view in administrator does let you set the access level, I
never added a test for that in the front end product view.It only checked access at the product level.I found a pretty easy fix though.I attach a changed file for components/com_mymuse/views/product/tmpl/product.phpI tried making it live on your site but other files were hidden. Have you set other tracks to different access levels? In any event, worked on my test site, setting up a "Complimentary" group as you did.Gord

Thanks Gord.

I'll check out. I seem to remember that early on I did set some different access levels so as to make the free songs available to only registered - something like that - I'll look into it. Thanks for your work,

Brendan
