Product/Track pricing question was created by drhustle
Hey Gordo, it's been a while hope you are doing well.I have been setting up the products and pricing on the site I am using to sell music & sound FX and I have been able to set up pricing for individual tracks that site visitors would be able to purchase whether they register or not.My Question:If I set the site up with a subscription option for registered members, can the tracks that are available for download have a purchase price for non-subscribers and a free or reduced price that will show for subscribers based on their group once they login?Or is there another way to have different prices for public vs registered members that doesn't require a 2nd instance of each item on the site.Any assistance or direction with this inquiry would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi DrHustle;

Myuse has the concept of Shopper Groups. You can create a shopper group with a certain discount (even 100%).
This can be assigned when viewing a user's record.
What we'd have to do is
1) put your subscribers into one of these groups.
Or
2) have MyMuse use Joomla Groups instead of Shopper groups.

Regarding number 1, it could just a matter of creating a plugin for your subscription package. Which component do you use?

I use the Joomlapolis community builder component as the community/registration system for my site.

They have an option called CB-Subs that allows the integration of subscription based membership options for the community.
Link - https://www.joomlapolis.com/addons/cb-paid-subscriptions

When registered and logged in using community builder, the user is identified as a "Registered" user.

I have found the shopper group menu item for MyMuse and was able to create a group called registered.

I'm not sure how to link these things or if it's possible so that MyMuse also recognizes that a registered community builder member and assigns them automatically to the shopper group.

This might be the possible plugin you referred to in your response to my original question.

Hi,
Can you send login info to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.?

I will have a look at their plugins. I'm pretty sure we can have a registered user become a MyMuse super shopper.

All tracks would be free to a subscriber? Or is it a discount?
